Valentine’s Day may be over, but several of our properties wouldn’t know it! Here’s all the lovely news folks have been sharing with me lately:
Tamakieta Monroe from Southside Manor in South Fulton, TN had lots of great news to share!
To start off, one of her young residents, Joshua, won second place in his elementary school’s Geography Bowl. Way to go!
Another young resident, Dariana, brought her flowers as a thank you gift for all of the property’s fun resident activities, and told her she hoped the flowers made her feel as happy as Tamakieta makes her.
Additionally, Southside’s Valentine’s party was a huge success as nearly 40 residents came out to enjoy sweet treats together.
Chaplain Ghosten also came by the property for a visit. Tamakieta and her Maintenance Supervisor, Stephen Briggs, enjoyed their meeting and lunch. She said Walter was an “absolute pleasure” to meet and both she & Stephen felt a sense of ease during and after his visit.
The staff & residents of Beerheba Heights Tower, located in McMinnville, TN also enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s party with 30 people in attendance. David Judkins, Maintenance Technician, even donned a red shirt for the occasion! The property can’t wait for the next few holidays to get to decorate again.
Walter also visited Radnor Towers, in Nashville. The staff there enjoyed his visit “as always” and look forward to seeing him again.
Where will our Chaplain end up next? Perhaps he’ll make a visit to your property!
As you may know, Radnor Towers is currently under going a major renovation. Despite everyone’s best efforts, this can still put a strain on the residents and employees. Christian Nerland, Assistant Community Director at the property, shared a card the staff received thanking them for all of their hard work and mentioned excitement over the new updates the rehab will bring. Wasn’t that thoughtful!
