In life there will always be unexpected challenges. There will be troubles and struggles that we never could have anticipated or imagined—challenges that will strain and trouble you to an almost breaking point. There will be painful disagreements between you and others with no solution in sight. There will be disputes that make no sense between family members and you will ask yourself, “Why me?” or wonder who you can turn to for answers.
There will be challenges in life that put you in an awkward, embarrassing situation, especially when it involves a close friend or relative. The troubles and struggles we encounter out of our difficulties in life are no respecters of wealth, status or privilege. It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor or what ethnicity group you belong to, you can expect to encounter challenging times. Circumventing your problems will not make them disappear. So stop trying to find ways to get around or evade difficulties. When tomorrow comes and it will come, you will still be faced with the same challenge you tried to avoid.
Our challenges in life do not make for an easy life. You see, the main problem with an easy life is that it masks our need for God. When we recognize that God controls our life in every aspect, we will find that our struggles become bearable and less painful. By depending on God, you can live a life of calmness knowing that there is a power beyond your understanding that will guide you when challenges ruin your day.
Many of our situations may be totally beyond our ability to handle. The awareness of your inadequacy is not something you should try to evade. It is precisely where God wants you. The best place to encounter the Supreme Power of all Humanity is when you get through the challenges that you face. So whenever new problems confront you, seek God’s wisdom to fight for you and watch Him work through your circumstances and struggles.
God knows the depth and breadth of your need. He gives freely refreshment for your mind and body. As you increasingly find fulfillment in God, other pleasures in life becomes less important. Knowing God intimately is like having a private well springing up with joy just for you. This spring flows freely full of mercy and grace to you, so that your joy is independent of your circumstances. Unexpected challenges will come your way; so Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
