As stated in our Core Values, LHP is…committed, courageous, collaborative, and curious. One way the company shows commitment is to “have an impact” whether it’s by employees donating their time during Volunteer Time Off, giving money to help residents devastated by a property fire, or to help a struggling project become finalized.
Last Friday, I was honored to be given the opportunity to be part of a donation team that delivered more than 600 needed items, like puzzles, magazines, and travel-size toiletries to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
Children’s Hospital was beyond thrilled and graciously received our donations. Tamara Adkisson, volunteer services director, said in the month of May an estimated 50 donations were received at the hospital. She said donations are made by companies like us, large corporations like Walmart, and even individuals. It was a great experience that I will never forget. I am so glad to work for a company that prides itself on giving back to the community, and truly executes our Core Values every day.
