Blue skies brought out lots of residents and plenty of smiles for a family-friendly outdoor picnic at Lynnridge/Lynnwood in Elizabethton, TN.
Who knew there was a National Donut Day? A resident at Southside Manor did, and according to Community Manager Tamakieta Monroe, the resident checks the monthly calendar faithfully looking for family-friendly holiday observations and then helps gather the kids for special events or treats, like doughnuts. Very sweet!
Chaplain Ghosten visited Madison Towers located in Richmond, KY on a lovely May day. He and Cyndi Rhodus, Community Manager, were able to enjoy a little outdoor time and each other’s company visiting in the property’s beautiful gazebo, a popular gathering place for residents. A resident passing by noticed that Walter was wearing a Vietnam Vet baseball cap similar to one he was wearing. The resident introduced himself to Walter and the two veterans had a moment together while staff had an opportunity to thank them for their service to our country.
