LHP employees routinely go above and beyond to help others. During Employee Appreciation Week, we want to showcase the caring spirit of our employees with a Random Act of Kindness contest.
The contest is fairly simple. Employee teams will simply plan and implement a random act of kindness between July 31 and Aug. 11. The activity can benefit an employee, resident, resident’s family member or complete stranger!
Employees will be divided into teams by property or department and each team will be allotted $100 (team leaders will receive a separate e-mail with more detailed instructions and a list of the teams.)
Be sure to tell us about your team’s thoughtful activity by completing the entry form (click here to download contest entry form.) You are welcome to send photos which may be used on The Scruff. However, the photos will not be shared with the judges. All entries will be completely anonymous and the judging will be based solely on the description. The judges are members of the Customer Service/Core Value Committee and will not be participating in the contest.
The contest deadline is Aug. 11 and entries need to be submitted to Lindsay Willis at firstname.lastname@example.org. Some of the best entries will be featured on The Scruff during Employee Appreciation Week. The team with the best and most meaningful Random Act of Kindness will be announced on Fri., Sept. 1. Employees from the winning team will be treated to a free lunch.
