You might wonder why the Bible speaks so much about wisdom. It is because wisdom is key to success in life and when we are successful, we are happy.

King Solomon is considered the wisest man in Biblical times because of his superior wisdom. Real wisdom is not human wisdom raised to a supernatural height, but rather it is supernatural wisdom lowered to human understanding from God.

Listen to what King Solomon said about wisdom: “Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: getting wisdom is getting understanding. Though wisdom costs all you have, it will grant you the highest understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.”

Speaking about wisdom that helps humans, American author and civil rights leader Howard Thurman said, “To some, God is the Eternal Presence hovering over all the myriad needs of humanity, yielding healing for the sick of body and soul, giving a lift to those whom weariness has overtaken in the long march, and calling out hidden purposes of destiny which are the common heritage of mankind.”

Wisdom is necessary in relationships because without it, relationships falter by the wayside. For example, your relationship may be toxic if it is characterized by behaviors that make you feel unhappy, such as disrespect, dishonesty, controlling behaviors, or a lack of support.

Wisdom is the front runner in life to let you know if your relationship is not up to the highest standards. The most serious warning signs include any form of violence, abuse or harassment, and they should be dealt with immediately. But in many cases, the indicators of a toxic relationship are much more subtle. The first, and simplest, is persistent unhappiness.

According to the Bible, wisdom that leads to success is this: “Repay no one evil for evil but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” Summing up, the key to sound wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment.

The soundness of an action or decision you make regarding any application of experience, knowledge, and good judgment is center in wisdom granted to us from God’s supernatural powers. So Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
