The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched- they are felt with the heart…. Walter, you have touched my heart in so many ways over the years. You have been my strength when I have needed it most.  Please get well soon, as we miss you dearly. -Terri Light (Stonecrest Apts.)

We wish you a speedy recovery.  We miss your posts and your smiling face! You inspire us to do better.   -Pam Gawne (Urban Park Towers)

March the 26, 2018 my beloved father passed away after a long illness. Prior to my father passing, my brother  at the age of 59 died suddenly of a massive heart attack.  I am a very private person, but my Regional was on site and I spoke with Mary. Mary contacted Walter and made him aware of my grief. Walter paid me a visit to Ramblewood. I had no Idea he was coming to visit me. Walter helped me to open up about my loss. With his kind words, and his prayers, my grief was somewhat less.  His visit helped me to talk about my grief instead of keeping it inside. Walter is truly a wonderful person.  I wish him the best recovery possible, and may God watch over him. -Patsy Egner (Ramblewood Apts.)

Did our last conversation of mustard/kale greens and hog jowl scare you that bad?  Or was it the excitement of wanting it that send your heart spinning?  Laughter helps heal, so hopefully you get a good chuckle from remembering the many conversations we have had.  Think of you daily, get well fast as I miss you and our crazy conversations. -Elva Saylor (Compliance)

Walter has been an inspiration to me from the first day I met him.  He is always so cheerful, positive and always wears a beautiful smile. His newsletters are very timely in what is going on in my life and the lives of people around me.  I draw much knowledge from Walter’s words of wisdom. I miss the weekly newsletters and am looking forward to them in the near future. I pray for healing and God’s Will to be done upon Walter.  I also pray for his wife and family. -Joan Cambeses (Westview Tower)

I really enjoy his visits and talks we’ve had and hope he’s able to visit in the future. -Sharon Caudill (Southview Apts.)
