With all the uncertainty in today’s environment both externally and internally, so many people are ready to give up. Allow me to say that giving up is not the right thing to do. God can and will help you get through your most difficult problem or concern. The stresses of life can have a great effect on your happiness, but the solution is turning these things over to the Lord.
Life’s troubles can bring you to a breaking point. If you feel you are at your wit’s end, you should try reaching out to God as King David did when he was at his breaking point. King David said, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”
When you get to the point of giving up, one of two things happens: you either break down or break through. It all depends on what you do. David experienced a breakthrough because he knew the right formula: “wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart.”
When you are troubled and experiencing hard times, know that help can be just a prayer away. You might be in a state of shock but always remember God is your comfort and refuge. A tough situation can actually become a platform for God to demonstrate his unfailing love and care for you.
Just depend on him and have faith that he will answer your prayer. He is going to bring you through whatever situation that you are facing. Remember you are the leader of your life in this world. Former President Dwight D. Eisenhower said, “The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on a section gang, a football field, in an army, or in an office.”
As the leader of your own life, apply the good things that make you happy and bring you hope. If you do this, you will discover your breakthrough in whatever situation you are experiencing and Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
