Our folks were busy over the summer & fall isn’t slowing down, either…

I will start with a word of belated congratulations to Michelle Kiyimba from The Pines in Knoxville. In July, Michelle brought her second daughter, Joella, home after being born prematurely (weighing only 4 lbs & 7 oz) and spending 3 weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of TN Medical Center. Michelle is glad to be back to her regular routine at The Pines & we are delighted to hear how well she & Joella are doing!

Westview Tower, also in Knoxville, welcomed the new season with their 2nd Annual Resident Appreciation Week!

Events included: a muffin breakfast, treat bags placed on everyone’s door, a spaghetti luncheon, multiple give-aways, & hand-delivered USPS packages by Westview’s own staff allowing the residents to stay in their apartment & not have to make the trek down to the office.

A resident at Indian Ridge in Shelbyville, KY  reached out to us via email to express how much she appreciates the hardworking Community Manager, Sherry, and Greg, in Maintenance. She says they are awesome and helpful. She also really appreciates the assistance she receives by being able to participate in the Section 8 program to help give a fresh start for her family. She also feels very safe at the property, thanks to the security cameras.

We love receiving these kinds of notes! Keep them coming!

Hickory Forest in Nashville, had a wonderful time creating crafts and having snacks to celebrate Elephant Appreciation Day. How much fun! elephants-never-forgetI want an invite, next time 🙂

Urban Park in Lockport, NY enjoyed a delicious tailgate party for resident appreciation day. At least 20 residents enjoyed chili (red & white), chips & dip, a pepperoni tray, and macaroni salad. All food was homemade by Pam and the rest of the staff. YUM!

To top it all, the Buffalo Bills (a favorite pro team in the area) won their football game that week!

As the final bit of news to end this post, let’s send out congratulations to Tonawanda Towers in Tonawanda, NY and Margaret Robertson Apartments in Hermitage, TN. Tonawanda recently had a Management & Occupancy Review (MOR) where they received a satisfactory score. Margaret Robertson recently had a Physical Inspection done by the Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) and received a score of 90c! Great job Colleen, Tori, & their respective staffs!

Keep sending in what’s happening at your property & it could find a home on The Scruff!

Looking forward,
