I don’t know about you, but I am loving the spring weather we’ve been having recently in East Tennessee. It appears several of our properties have been taking advantage of the season with Easter egg hunts and enjoying visits with our dear Chaplain. Read below for more on this New Post Wednesday.
Chaplain Ghosten made his way to Ohio for a recent visit. He met the staff as well as a resident at Beechwood Villas.
Model City, part of 1 Community Kingsport, hosted an Easter egg hunt as their resident event for the month of April. Around 50 people enjoyed hot dogs and chips and then the kids worked hard to find those 6 prize eggs.
Nearby property Miller Village, also part of 1 Community Kingsport, had a great turn out at their annual Easter egg hunt with 30 people in attendance. Snacks, sweets, and fun was had by all!
Last but not least, our namesake Scruffy Lockwood, recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He may be gone, but he will always be remembered on The Scruff.
With gratitude & coffee,
