Welcome to another New Post Wednesday!

We’ve got some announcements and accolades to discuss today. Thanks to those who have sent in these kind words.

I received a photo of Sherry Bogard, the Manager at Indian Ridge in Shelbyville, KY, pressure washing the parking lot of the property on a Saturday. A resident sent the photo in stating that it was “almost 100 degrees” that day and that they “truly have the best manager that comes in on her own to make sure the community is looking it’s best.” Martha Hopkins, Sherry’s supervisor, reports that she “goes well beyond what’s required of her – a really great employee.” Great work, Sherry!

Carmen Solomon, half of Team Tech Support, recently honored a local veteran, Arnold Reynolds, her close friend, who served in Vietnam from 1965-67 with a Quilt of Honor. Quilts of Honor‘s mission is “to bestow a universal symbol and token of thanks, solace, and remembrance to those who serve in harm’s way to protect and defend our lives and freedoms. Quilts of Honor are made by the loving hands of countless volunteers who wish to thank those who have served so that they know their sacrifices are appreciated.” Arnold’s quilt has been officially recognized by the non-profit QOH organization and will be included in their database of donated quilts. This story was featured in a local publication, Shopper News. What an awesome idea, Carmen!

I was notified by Brittany Schutt, Manager at Radnor Towers in Nashville, TN that her Assistant Manager Christian Nerland recently passed his Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) training with flying colors. Way to go, Christian!

Tamakieta Monroe, Manager of Southside Manor in South Fulton, TN sent in a photo of a resident she’s noticing has been cleaning the grounds of the property. It’s usually after business hours when maintenance has left for the day. Charles is proud of his community and wants to help keep it clean. Great eye, Tamakieta. We are proud of the work we do each day and we love seeing our residents taking pride in where they live.
