Love is in the air at Meadowbrook Apartments where a pre-Valentine’s Day ‘walk-thru’ party treated families to boxes of candy and cards. Every resident was invited to drop by the office and select packages of both Valentine’s Day cards and candy. What a treat! Resident Service Coordinator Cecilia Whittington said everyone enjoyed the party and the Valentine’s gifts, which were donated by an individual wishing to remain anonymous.
Cupid’s arrows landed at other properties. Springplace’s Community Manager Stephanie Corum filled a glass jar with all kinds of candy and created a “guess how many pieces of candy are in this jar” game. This week residents have been invited to drop by the office and make a guess. On February 14, the resident who has the closest guess will win the candy jar!
North Cleveland Towers Community Manager Matt Jackson found some very fun and colorful Hallmark Valentine’s Day word games especially popular with residents at our properties serving older adults. Brandy Ford, Regional Property Manager, shared the games with The Scruff and we’d like to share them here in case your property can use them as part of a resident Valentine’s Day party. Enjoy!
