There is a secret to a glorious life that all should subscribe to for happiness and joy. You must walk hand in hand with God to have a degree of peace and you should talk with him often each day. This is to say you should have a constant communication with God through prayer.
However, I believe that the first step toward living a glorious life filled with joy and happiness is to make a decision to trust and have faith that God’s words ring true for all who follow his example. When you commit to honor God’s word and understand his will for your life, you will prosper. A wholehearted approach to everything that you do will always produce a life filled with joy and happiness.
Another thought is this: the secret to a glorious life is embedded in our highest priority and it should always be to have a personal relationship with God by fulfilling his will for your life. Do not let that priority slip. There is a sobering illustration of this in the Bible. A soldier was given custody of an important prisoner and told, “if by any means he is missing, your life shall be for his life, or else you shall pay a talent of silver.”
In spite of the warning, he allowed this prisoner to escape. So how did it happen? Through carelessness and busyness. Keeping your spiritual priorities in place is your responsibility and no one else’s. If you do not do it, you will pay a high price for the secret to your glorious life of happiness and joy.
There is work going on in your life right now. You may not be fully aware of it, but without it, you will never be qualified to handle what God has in mind for you. Spending time with God is the price you pay for hearing from him and doing his will. Spiritually speaking, there is no shortcut to any place that is worth going to obtain a daily life filled with happiness and joy.
It has been said that “the purpose of this glorious life is not simply to endure it, but to soar, stumble, and flourish as you learn to fall in love with existence. We were born to live… not to merely exist.”
So today make a vow that you will be a special part of God’s plan for a more loving, faithful, light-filled world, a world of hope, and a world of peace that leads others to the great secret of a glorious life filled with happiness and joy. And Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
