The March 25 ribbon cutting was just one of two major milestones for Tapestry at Roan Hill this month. Earlier in March, LHP Capital was honored with a 2026 Tennessee’s Best award from the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA). Earning a “TN Best” designation requires more than just a new building; it requires innovation and excellence. Several key achievements made this project a winner:
- A Regulatory Milestone: LHP along with partners Bristol Development Group and Johnson City Development Group successfully navigated a complex regulatory transfer to move the HUD Project-Based Rental Assistance (HAP) contract from the 100-year-old John Sevier Center to a brand-new community, ensuring no resident lost their vital support.
- Ground-Up Excellence: The team delivered a stunning, modernized environment from the ground up. Residents now enjoy a gorgeous new home complete with a fitness center, community gathering spaces, a modern mailroom, and a scenic outdoor courtyard.
- A “Home for the Holidays” Success: The construction project was delivered on time and in just two years. Most importantly, our team ensured every resident was moved in and settled before Christmas Day 2026.
