A team of LHP employees and their pooches participated in Knoxville’s Mardi Growl Parade on Saturday. The annual event is a benefit for Young-Williams Animal Center, which serves as the animal shelter for Knox County.

Pets and their human companions dress up in all types of costumes to prance in the parade and compete in a costume contest. One of the cutest events around, Mardi Growl draws thousands to downtown Knoxville to watch the stream of dogs and people decked out in crazy and fun attire.  Dressed in bright colored fedoras, purple shades, boas and beads, LHP’s team–which included Lucy, Coco, Bella, Dash, Reilly and Riley–totally rocked a traditional Mardi Gras theme:

LHP’s team members were:  Katie Pierce with Lucy and Katie’s mother Lisa with Coco, Shauna Lawson and her daughter Nevaeh with Bella, and Lara Lundy with Dash and Lara’s mother Katherine with Reilly. Lawson Family Foundation’s executive director Matthew Harrell with Riley was also on the team.
