LHP Capital was front and center at the Mardi Growl parade on Saturday, a Knoxville event held each year to raise funds for Young-Williams Animal Center. Devon Richards, Accounts Payable Analyst, and Logan Wells, Senior Construction Accountant, and their fur and human families decked out in festive Mardi Gras attire to walk in the parade and represent LHP Capital which was a sponsor.
Thunder and Lightning, Logan’s German Shepherd/Labrador mixes, were the perfect pair to lead the way and they did. The gentle giants greeted folks along the parade route with their tails wagging furiously. Ellie, Devon’s sweet pup, perched proudly in a backpack carried by Devon’s son Ryan. From her vantage point, Ellie surveyed the scene with regal composure.
Thunder, Lightning and Ellie stole the show as far as The Scruff is concerned. There were other colorful canines, of course, which is why the fun event is so popular for the many participants and parade followers. Enjoy pics from the parade:
Legacy Housing Foundation’s Good Times program is on the move and visited Ridgebrook Apartments last week. Residents always enjoy the party and are appreciative that the program also provides free body and bath products.
