It is vitally important to wake up each day with a positive feeling about yourself. A positive spirit won’t let you start your day like a grouch. Having a grumpy attitude can cause those you associate with to be less likely to want to be in your company.

When you don’t feel good about yourself, you may use things like work, food, relationships, money, and mood-altering substances to build a wall to keep others from getting too close. But lasting relationships can only be built when you stop hiding and become transparent with others.

We need to acknowledge what makes us feel bad. Unless we’re honest with ourselves, it’s hard to be genuine with the people that we associate with in our daily activities. God is the one who can help us when we have self-doubts.

There is a song that says, “just a little talk with God will make it alright.” If you want to feel better about yourself perhaps you should talk to God. American social philosopher Eric Hoffer said, “We lie loudest when we lie to ourselves.” Until you face the truth about yourself, you will find it hard to talk to God. You will feel lonely and alienated, and you will struggle to look people in the eye, fearing they will see the real you.

So, if you want to feel good about yourself, the first step is to come out of hiding and, in prayer, seek God for his wisdom and direction. God said to the Prophet Jeremiah “You will seek me and find me when you earnestly seek me with all your heart.”

Feeling good about yourself originates from the heart. When your heart is aligned with God, you won’t struggle to look people in the eye afraid they’ll see your true self. Feeling good about yourself means that you have to come out of hiding and present your case to God. Acknowledge that you are not perfect and that you have some weaknesses.

Remember, the Bible teaches the importance of seeking God, who promises that those who earnestly seek him will find him and receive his blessings. The numerous blessings associated with self-acceptance are essential for a happy and joyful life. So, be blessed and Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
