How you start your morning is paramount to having a joyful day. I encourage you to start your day with a prayer. You should make it a habit to express your needs to the Lord every morning. When you develop this habit, you will discover an inner peace that the day will be well with your soul.

The Bible emphasizes that we should start each day by seeking God through prayer, praising him for new mercies, and trusting him for guidance and strength. By dedicating your first moments to his grace, you will find renewed strength and joy. You will begin to recognize that every day is a gift, and gratitude is our most natural response to that gift.

Starting the day in prayer allows us to set a positive tone rather than beginning in a state of anxiety. As the Psalmist writes: “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” He encourages starting each day with a thankful, positive mindset, focusing on God’s grace rather than our circumstances.

Setting the right tone in starting your day is paramount. This is a call to all humanity for recognizing every day as a divine gift. The Psalmist urges all believers to choose gratitude and joy in starting your day. He encourages us to celebrate God’s goodness, his salvation, and his sovereignty, even during difficult times. Historically, this passage was part of a liturgy of praise where worshipers acknowledged that God had established the day for a special purpose, and therefore, they would carry out his purpose by rejoicing and being glad in it.

We are in a spiritual battle every day, and we can only succeed with God’s help. Depend on him to aid you in developing this important habit. To aid you in developing this habit, I invite you to write down the following commitment, sign it and keep it where you can see it daily:

“Lord, I commit myself to beginning each day with You no matter what the cost. And I am depending on You to help me remain consistent.”

So, how are you starting your day? There is always a reason to be thankful. Simply waking up is a miracle. Our families and friends are blessings. Give God the praise for the day! Be blessed and Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
