“Evergreen Villas’ success in the recent MOR is a direct reflection of the excellent management provided by Farrah Linkous and continued by Sade Logan,” said Andy Brinkman, Senior Vice President, Property Management. Farrah managed the property for the first part of the review year before transferring to North Cleveland Tower to be closer to family. Sade took over the reins and guided the property seamlessly to its Superior MOR.
What is the single most important thing to have in place to achieve a Superior MOR score?
Sade: Thorough attention to resident files is crucial. Ensure all required documents are present, accurate, and consistently organized. Review and address potential issues beforehand. Have a clear plan and do your due diligence.
What advice would you share with other property managers?
Farrah: Do not be afraid to ask for advice. Brandy and Jennifer are always willing to walk you through things. When you’re second-guessing yourself, especially working alone at a property, you can call and say, “Hey, am I overthinking this? Am I on the right track?” With Brandy’s team, everyone pitches in and helps out.
Sade: Stay organized, keep resident files and documentation in order. Regularly review them to ensure everything is correct and up to date.
If you could change anything about the review, what would it be?
Sade: Some training sessions or resources could help everyone feel more prepared.
