More than 125 LHP employees from across the organization gathered at the Dollywood HeartSong Lodge and Resort in Sevierville last week for the “Reaching New Heights” Leadership Conference.
The conference offered a dynamic mix of learning and team-building activities. The leadership group included managers, assistant managers, and supervisors from the Corporate, Regional, Property, Maintenance and Compliance departments. The leaders participated in sessions on time management, mental health in the workplace, and coaching and communication. An officer with Knox County Sheriff’s Department discussed de-escalation strategies for property management staff. The learning day culminated in a fun team building exercise. Groups of employees came together to build community lending libraries, fostering a spirit of giving back.
