Most people who succeed in life set their goals early and maintain them while realizing that they may have to make adjustments along the way. When they do, these goals are more obtainable. However, if you are not careful, you can make a life-altering decision based on your feelings and not on what is practical. Your goals should be obtainable and must not be based on temporary situations or what the moment provides. To maintain your vision, I suggest that you allow God to lead the way.

If you want to reach a goal, you must see yourself reaching it in your own mind before you can obtain it. There is no foreseeable outcome for a person who does not know where they want to go in life. It is generally understood that whatever you can do or dream, you are more likely to reach than those that you had not imagined.

By establishing your life’s priorities early, you can make better decisions in any situation and without your emotions manipulating and controlling you. Also, you are more likely to set them with integrity. When you stick to your goals, it makes life more manageable rather than a hit and miss. Once your decision is made and you realize what is important, you can live your life based on those principles and the values you have established for achieving your goals.

Let’s say you want to build a better marriage. It might mean that you spend less time doing things that take you away from your spouse or planning a weekly date night. However, it takes honesty, born in prayer, to know what your real issues are and to make good decisions accordingly. And it takes character and perseverance to follow through once those decisions are made. The great thing is that once you decide and then commit your actions to God, your plans will succeed. God will give you the strength each day to live by your decisions.

So, life should not be spent haphazardly. You should make plans and follow through to achieve your goals. A vision that comes to fruition can provide enjoyment and a sense of personal satisfaction that comes from knowing you accomplished what you set out to attain. So do not quit until you have succeeded and produced the results that you have envisioned. Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
