Humanity has a habit of giving up too soon. To avoid falling into the pit of quitting too soon, you need the right people in your life. Sometimes the first step toward getting out of discouragement is finding somebody who can lift your spirit.
The company you keep will either lift you up or pull you down. You need someone who will be positive and upbeat when you have that low feeling. It happens to all of us. The strongest man or woman has down moments. Those moments can come at any time. One day your life is great and the next day your world can come crashing down on you. This is the time when you need someone who can raise your spirits.
Author Lydia Sweatt said, “It isn’t always easy to overcome obstacles, to choose happiness repeatedly when life gets tough, but it can be rewarding. No matter how hard it might be, you will always come out on the other side.” Having overcome you will become just a little bit stronger and a little bit wiser and Sweatt said, “that’s why life is such a beautiful web of challenges and triumphs.” We should never dismiss our experiences in life as just another day but rather cherish the fact that you have another day to experience the beauty of being alive. Be thankful that even in your worst day, you can find life is worth living.
Never lose sight on where you are headed. The right perspective in life will cheer you on amid your frustration. A quitter never succeeds in life. You must keep trying and trying, and success will come. Do not settle for failure; get up and try again. God will work with you. It is said that “when life kicks you, let it kick you forward.” Refuse to accept defeat and remember, you will be rewarded for what you finished, not for what you started. Sometimes the “last key on the ring is the one that opens the door.” So, ask God for the strength to keep persevering until you win.
Finally, surround yourself with others who can lift your spirit when you have been knocked down because those are the one who can give you good advice on how to dust yourself off and try it again. And Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
