Taco Tuesday is always a hit at LHP communities, and a recent event at Walker Courts in Jonesboro, AR, took the popular tradition to a whole new level! Residents enjoyed a Community Health Fair dubbed “Taco ‘Bout Health,” combining delicious food with valuable resources. And just up the road a bit, Frank Callaghan in Oak Ridge, TN, got in on the fun hosting “Taco ‘Bout a Good Time” with lots of celebratory decor and delicious eats.
Walker Courts serves up wellness with ‘Taco ‘Bout Health’
At Walker Courts, the meal was sponsored by Southern Caregivers, and they brought more than just lunch. They came with giveaways for the residents and invited other helpful partners to join them at the health fair:
- Legal Aid of Arkansas was on hand to answer residents’ legal questions.
- The Arkansas State Adult Education team provided assistance to those seeking their GED.
- Home Health Professionals were also present, offering their expertise and services.
