Each of us has a measure of faith. When we are met with obstacles in life, our faith is what gets us through.  You do not need a truckload of faith to overcome most obstacles. In fact, faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. Think about it. A tiny mustard seed is one of the smallest seeds in the world and yet it has the power to break through hard soil and withstand harsh conditions to grow and become a mighty tree. It is not so much the size of your faith, but the quality of it that determines your success in life.

The amount of faith God has given you is equal to the assignment he has planned for you. American journalist Jon Katz said, “I think if I have learned anything about friendship, it is to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Do not walk away, do not be distracted, do not be too busy or tired, do not take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together.”

Whatever you are facing, tell yourself, God has given me the faith to handle it. Nothing is more important than your faith. It is what will help you get through the tough days that make you question your ability to cope with life’s disappointments and pain. Faith is the glue you need. It is like having a direct line to God. As the prayer of faith flows up, God’s power flows down. As a result, you are more than adequate for the challenge. Failure is never final, as long as your faith doesn’t fail.

Today might be your hardest time; however, it might lead to the greatest moment of your life. Let me encourage you to keep pressing on despite difficult days ahead because tough situations build strong people in the end. Show me a person who has experienced tough times in their life and I will show you a person whose faith has brought them through. It is not a question of whether or not you will experience tough times, but rather one of what you will do when obstacles impede your path.

No one could have predicted a global pandemic of such magnitude that it would  change all of humanity so much that we now live in a new normal. No one could have anticipated that this new normal would separate us from our loved ones. But here we are, face to face, in a new normal that is testing our faith, a phenomenon that requires our faith to be stronger than ever. So, Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
