Our August Employee Spotlight is on Georgette Ivory, Community Manager at Oak Ridge Apartments, Little Rock, who has led an amazing turnaround at the family property. Georgette joined LHP in August 2020 and in less than a year, she has decreased tenant account receivables by 85 percent. This is a key performance
metric for all multifamily properties and one that has been much more difficult to manage during the pandemic, according to Josh Hawley, LHP Asset Management Analyst, who nominated Georgette for the award.

Georgette didn’t let Covid-19 restrictions deter her from excelling in any of her duties as property manager. At the time of the nomination, Oak Ridge had only one incomplete cert with only two annual certs due, says Josh, adding, “this performance shines on its own.” In addition, Josh provided a list of additional exceptional property performance metrics that serve as a testament to Georgette’s skills, dedication and professionalism:
- Maintained occupancy at 99% ( it was in the low 90s, if not below, at the end of 2019)
- Significantly reduced vacancy loss, bad debts and other expenses
- Net income at 291% above budget
Regional Property Manager Jamie Mays echoes Josh’s praise of Georgette’s leadership and the outstanding outcomes she achieves. Georgette has been in the housing industry for eight years and during her tenure, she has received numerous awards from the Arkansas Housing Commission, Arkansas Housing Association and others.
