We all seek peace in our life. It can be having a state of quiet, calm, or harmony. It can mean freedom from war, violence, or worry. Most of us, however, are searching for an inner peace—the kind that arrives when our mind feels safe and free from stress.
To find real peace, you must live by the principles of God’s word. True inner peace comes when you live in harmony with God. Think of it this way: a new car comes with an owner’s manual that tells you what maintenance is required for optimal performance.
The Bible is our owner’s manual for life. It contains guiding principles for our finances, health, marriage, business, relationships, and much much more. Just like your automobile will drive more smoothly and efficiently when you use it according to its design, so will your life go more smoothly when you live it according to God’s design.
Peace is vital and it is a necessity in our lives because it forms the core foundation for mental health, emotional balance, and clear thinking. Without a sense of calm, constant stress and inner chaos cloud our judgment, strain our relationships, and drain the energy we need to grow, heal, and enjoy daily life.
I encourage you not to go around feeling guilty about the past. Guilt is the ultimate destroyer of peace. When we feel guilty, we feel haunted by our past. This is why we hear stories of people making amends for a wrong committed decades ago. They live in agony all those years until they finally clear their conscience.
The only way to experience lasting peace is to possess a clear conscience, and only God can grant that. Real pardon comes from God. When we accept the pardon that God gives to all believers, an everlasting peace follows. God enjoys forgiving. He owns a big eraser. If we commit our lives to him, he is faithful and just, and he will forgive us of our wrongdoings and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Why is peace so necessary? Inner peace lowers stress and creates a calm mind that can solve problems with clarity. It restores the body by allowing the body to sleep, rest and recover for the challenges that each new day brings. God’s peace actively guards our heart and mind and is better than human understanding. So, seek peace in your life that only God can give to you. Be blessed and Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
