LHP Property Management is proud to announce that Tivoli Place and Twin City Manor have received a Superior Rating on their recent HUD Management and Occupancy Review (MOR). An excellent MOR score is like a seal of approval, says Andy Brinkman, Senior Vice President, LHP Property Management. It shows that property owners and managers are fully compliant meeting HUD regulations and creating a community where residents enjoy a high quality of life.
Congratulations Danielle and Jacquelin:

The Scruff asked the managers about their experience so others can learn from their success.
Q: What is the single most important thing to have in place to achieve a Superior MOR score?
Danielle: A strong compliance department and always keeping your files and office organized.
Jacquelin: Having the support of the Regional Manager, Senior Manager, and Maintenance. There is no “I” in TEAM!
Q: What advice do you have for other managers who are working to obtain a Superior MOR score?
Danielle: Be organized. Try to get your Annual Recertifications (ARs) done within a month. When doing current ARs, look back at the previous year to know which files require more diligence.
Jacquelin: Ask for help and do not settle for mediocrity.
Q: Beyond the score, what is the most rewarding part of this success?
Danielle: The superior rating came just after a major REHAB and moving 30 new residents into Tivoli. I was especially proud of the property’s good score, but the most rewarding part was having one-on-one time with my residents during the AR interview.
Jacquelin: Developing positive working relationships with the residents.
Way to go Danielle and Jacquelin!
