Kindness is a servant’s trait that all of us should acquire. However, it is not a trait that many people possess. When you practice kindness, you don’t have to wake up in the morning deciding what kind of person you are going to be to others, nor do you have to wonder what attitude you will wear that day. Your behavior will flow naturally as you interact with people.

The Bible teaches that kindness is a core virtue, reflecting God’s own nature and serving as a fruit of the spirit. Kindness involves acting compassionately and forgiving others, as God forgives us. The Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus to embody kindness, gentleness, and patience. He said the Lord commanded his followers to love their enemies and do good to them, showing kindness to all, even to the ungrateful and selfish.

To truly impact the lives of others, we must have a deep understanding of what it means to be kind. Kindness is more than just polite words. It’s expressed through thoughtful actions, especially toward those in need or even those who might not show kindness in return. Poet Robert Burns wrote, “The kind heart most resembles God.”

Because we all want kindness and fair treatment, we need to do as the Lord said, “Do to others what you would have them do to you.” If you are rude, people are going to be rude to you. But if you are kind, most people will desire to respond the same way. I encourage you to be kind and honest and you will earn respect, fairness and even a longer, more fulfilling life.

Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate, characterized by selfless acts of care, compassion, and thoughtfulness towards others. You should do all of these acts without any expectation of anything in return. Kindness goes beyond simply being nice. It involves intentional, voluntary actions that demonstrate goodwill, empathy, and a genuine desire to alleviate suffering or make others feel good.

Kindness is a servant’s trait that is designed to make this world a better place for all. It calls us to uplift and do good not only to those in our sphere but to all of God’s people. So, when you are kind to others, you are really doing yourself a favor. Be blessed and Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
