Tiffany “Nicci” Jones is the star of this month’s LHP Employee Spotlight, a special feature which recognizes employees who perform at an extraordinary level and exemplify excellence in everything they do. Nicci has been with LHP for only four months but already her “getting it done” attitude and outstanding work ethic have earned her this honor–as well as a promotion.
Nicci joined Overlook Ridge Apartments in Nashville as a grounds keeper in June. From day one, she let it be known that she wanted to learn to be a maintenance tech and that she was willing to work hard and do whatever it takes to prove herself, says Aaron Price, Community Manager, Overlook Ridge.
“I never heard Nicci complain about the amount of trash or the time it took picking up the grounds even after a long holiday weekend,” says Aaron. “She came very eager to learn and willing to help where needed.”
Nicci began to assist the maintenance department helping with work orders and even unit turns. Property management leadership took note of her resolve and growth. On Aug. 7, Nicci was promoted to Maintenance Tech. Now she is working on obtaining her EPA certification license and the next step in her career growth.
“She is very conscientious about her work to make sure that it is completed properly and that the residents are satisfied,” says Aaron. “It is an honor to have Nicci as part of the Overlook Legends Elite Squad Team. I look forward to see what the future holds for her.” So do we!
