The residents’ wildflower garden at Evergreen Villas is a gift that keeps on giving, offering a new palette of colors each season. This fall, the garden’s deep oranges, sunny yellows, and fiery reds, made a stunning display. Inspired by the beautiful autumn blooms, several residents decided to create a pressed flower arrangement to give as a gift to former resident service coordinator, Jessica Kahler. The framed artwork is expected to be completed next month.
Talk about a smashing success! Beersheba Towers resident service coordinator Dericka Gunter scheduled a painting class as an activity for October. As you can see from the photos below, the residents had a great time and completed some awesome paintings of a pumpkin.
Ridgebrook’s renovation is well underway. Six buildings have been fully renovated allowing 64 residents to move back into their homes in September, which was cause for a celebration! Ridgebrook hopes to to have all of the renovations complete by the end of year.
Springplace residents enjoyed an afternoon of BINGO sponsored by CARIS.
It’s October so you know what that means at Park Place! Go Pink. Community Manager Stacy McGrew is once again hosting her annual “Show Me the Pink” event this month. Every Friday throughout the month, she encourages residents to don their favorite pink attire. Not only is it a great way to add a splash of color to your week, but it also serves as a
powerful show of support for those affected by breast cancer.
At the end of the month, those who participate are automatically entered into a drawing to win a fantastic gift basket. Go Park Place and spread some pink cheer!
