Last week LHP Capital Developers Alvin Nance and Tallal Shakarchi met with residents at John Sevier Center to update them on the progress of Tapestry at Roan Hill, their new replacement housing under development in Johnson City, TN.
There was a round of applause when Tallal said that the project financing is expected to close at the end of November and that construction will begin shortly thereafter. The estimated completion date is December 2025.
Residents were impressed with the design plans and excited to see their apartments will be significantly larger than their current efficiency units. They were also thrilled to learn that in addition to new kitchen appliances, every apartment will have a washer and dryer. Outside the developers explained that they are taking advantage of the ample green space to provide residents with walking paths, outdoor sitting areas, a pet walk area and ample free parking.
Alvin and Tallal were pleased to be able to share the good news with residents and to answer their questions. They also invited residents to enjoy a box lunch courtesy of LHP and a bag of free essential household products from Legacy Housing Foundation, both small gestures of their gratitude to the residents for their patience and understanding with the development process.
