From childhood to adult, we have been instructed to stand strong whenever we are faced with adversity and oppositions. Well, today is that time for all Americans to stand strong during these uncertain times. We are bombarded with political rhetoric from all sides. Many American are wondering who and what to believe about certain issues of the day. Sifting through issues of the day can be stressful and mindboggling.

Our world has become so complex with different views on issues that sometimes run contrary to our moral beliefs. However, we stand strong and never waiver. There is a saying that “you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.” When you are bombarded by so many things in life, let me suggest to you to stay positive even when it feels like your whole world is falling apart.

All of us must be at our strongest when we are feeling at our weakest moments. There is a biblical scripture that encourages us with these words – “but those who trust in the lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

Never forget about how far you have come or everything you have gotten through. All the times you have pushed on even when you felt you could not endure any more. All the mornings you got out of bed no matter how hard it was to place one foot on the floor. All the times you wanted to give up, but you got through another day despite what you were facing. And never forget how much strength you have learned and developed through the years that God has given you. All these things are what keeps you moving forward in life.

There is an interesting story in the bible about a man named Samson. It is true that Samson lost everything: his hair, his strength, his sight, his position, his family, and his reputation. The mightiest man that Israel had ever seen was now placed in a dungeon all alone: blinded, humiliated, and grinding corn like an ox. In his weakness he was a laughingstock. But remember this, it is never over until God says it is over. At Samson’s lowest point, he cried out to God for mercy and got it. You may be at your lowest breaking point of your life today. You may be hurting to the point of giving up right now, but be patient, help is on the way. God is coming to your rescue. He is coming to deliver you and set you free from your adversities. So, stand strong and Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
