The question “What makes you happy?” likely brings many thoughts to mind. What brings me joy is probably different from what makes you happy—or we might find happiness in the exact same things.

Consider this: What kind of work environment brings out the best in you? Do you thrive on routine work? Are you motivated by people’s needs? Do you enjoy tackling challenges that might discourage others? Do you enjoy being part of a team?

These are activities that all of us will face in our life. Some will energize us, while others may cause frustration. For instance, if you thrive on human interaction and find happiness whenever you are around people, sitting in front of a computer all day might leave you feeling miserable. On the other hand, if you love researching or communicating behind the scenes, that same desk role might bring a deep sense of fulfillment.

Each of us has likes and dislikes in life; no two people enjoy the exact same things. This is why many experts suggest that when choosing a partner, choose someone that enjoys many of the things that you enjoy.

I often remind people that God has a purpose for your life. When you discover and begin walking in that purpose, you will experience your highest levels of happiness and fulfillment. You are not just another brick in the wall or another nail in the carpenter’s toolbox. God uniquely designed you to contribute to the wellbeing of others.

God personally formed and made you. You are the only you that he created, and if you fail to embrace who you are, the world misses out on your unique contribution. So, take responsibility for doing the best you can with the life you’ve been given.  That is the true secret to fulfillment and happiness: doing what God created you to do.

Ultimately, the Bible teaches that true happiness stems from a right relationship with God and living in sync with his design, rather than chasing fleeting circumstances. Aligning your life with God’s wisdom naturally leads to a flourishing, joyful life. True happiness in life is rooted in meaningful relationships, clear personal goals, and gratitude for small daily moments. A deep connection with family and friends provides ongoing support and joy. So, what brings you true happiness? Be blessed and Never Give Up! Never Give Up! Never Give Up!
