Beersheba Heights Tower held its first annual Field Day World Championship and it was a smashing success! Residents duked it out in four hilarious events: the timed penny stack, marshmallow flip, ping pong ball/pool noodle shooting, and a dramatic Nerf gun/solo cup pyramid annihilation! (The danger of a photographer being seriously injured prevented photo documentation of the last event!)

Despite some fierce competition, residents and staff had a GREAT time, says Community Manager Stewart Hale, adding, “Huge thanks to RSC Dericka Gunter for organizing the chaos, and to David Judkins and Donnie Moffler for keeping the fun on track!”

Meanwhile, across the organization, a different kind of valuable skill-building took place at Trevecca Towers. Residents there were invited to take a digital literacy class for seniors. Thanks to a partnership with the Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) and Tech Goes Home, 25 residents gained essential digital skills and received a free Chromebook to help them stay connected. This initiative is a fantastic step toward empowering seniors to embrace the digital world.
