Residents at Frank Callaghan in Oak Ridge had a great time creating Jack-O-Lanterns in a variety of no-carve styles. No-carve pumpkins are less messy to work with and they can be painted and stenciled as well as decorated with stickers, silk flowers, paste on curios, beads, push pins and just about anything you can think of.
The tradition of creating a festive Halloween pumpkin has come a long way, but it is still a wonderful opportunity for people to “carve out” some fun time together. This year Halloween falls on Monday, Oct. 31. In the spirit of the holiday, The Scruff would like to feature a photo spread of the best decorated pumpkins from our employees and residents. Please send photos of your smashing pumpkins to TheScruff@lhp.net between now and Oct. 28.
