Harriman Gardens celebrated its 3rd annual Fall Festival on October 13 with a record 96 residents and 23 vendors in attendance. The residents enjoyed good food and fun as well as playing games, such as Senior Citizen Apple Bobbing, Bean Bag Toss, and Pumpkin Ring Toss which were arranged and hosted by Harriman’s maintenance team Ronnie Jordan and Trinity King.

Community Manager Scott Treadway oversaw the festivities and operated a dipping station for chocolate or caramel apples. Service Coordinator Suzanne Hunsaker coordinated the many vendors, live music and event logistics.  Assistant Manager Jim Jackson manned the grill and his wife helped serve burgers with all the fixings, chips, and water. Dean Parker from the Legacy Housing Foundation brought the Good Times truck, and he and Chaplain Walter Ghosten distributed household products. The festival was a huge success, and staff and residents had a wonderful time celebrating the fall season.
