This Pup, Close and Purrsonal is from Aleah Shrigley, Regional Property Manager, who has a 7-week-old Husky puppy named Aegir with a face to melt your heart.
Indeed, it was love at first sight for Aleah who met the puppy when he was just 4 weeks old. They bonded immediately and have been inseparable ever since. Aegir has joined mom for road trips to Kentucky and Ohio, enjoying the opportunity to poke his head out the window to feel the breeze and soak up the scents and smells.
Aegir is almost fully potty trained and is learning good mouth manners, including not to bite. “He’s so cute he gets away with a lot,’ says Aleah. “I am just fine with that since he’s imprinted himself upon my heart.”
Aegir is the latest addition to Aleah’s ever-growing fur family which includes Piper, a cat, Gemma, a pit bull/boxer, and multiple bunnies she has via her rabbitry and rescue organization called Babalu Bunnies.
Aegir is becoming fast friends with Gemma. They play and run in the yard, and Aegir strives to keep up with the stronger, older sibling. And when it’s time to rest, Aegir knows to turn to mom for his favorite belly rubs and a soft blankie to fall asleep.
