This month, Park Place embarked on a heartwarming mission to involve residents in a noble cause – a food drive to give back to the community. Park Place Community Manager Staci McGrew organized the effort.
For every three canned goods or non-perishable food items donated, residents had their names entered into a raffle for a Thanksgiving turkey. The collected food items will be generously donated to Jackson House, a local nonprofit organization in Hot Springs that provides free meals to people who are homeless.
Though two fortunate residents will receive a Thanksgiving turkey, the true reward lies in the collective act of kindness and generosity that the staff and residents share.
