Today’s Pup Close and Purrsonal comes to us from Kent Hersha, an Accountant at our Corporate office. Meet his pups:

The German Shepherd, His name is Bro.  He is a mix between an Eastern European and a Western European German Shephard.  Bro is about 4 years old and Kent decided to get him when a previous dog had passed with cancer.  Even though he whines a lot like most shepherds, he does a good job letting the neighbors know he exists every day.

The tiny dog, her name is LittleFoot.  Because of her spunky happy go lucky attitude, her name quickly changed… (to one not suitable for work ;-)).  She is a Shiba Inu out of Japan and is about 30 lbs.  She is the reason dirty clothes are always scattered throughout the house in the morning.  Because of her up to no good attitude, Kent will always have a Shiba in his life.

The Husky, her name is Annie.  She is the matriarch of the group.  She was his first dog that he decided to get when he bought my house.  She is almost 8 years old but don’t let that fool you.  She is an escape artist!  Not only can she leap over Kent’s 5 foot fence, she can climb it as well.  She also has 2 dens in the back yard that are very impressive that are about 6 foot in the ground and a full living quarters.

Even though he will admit he does have favorites, Kent refuse to give them special attention.  He makes sure to treat them all the same as dogs have feelings too!  It can be tricky when they all have different personalities but at the end of the day, all three dogs are happy as can be.  Kent will forever have dogs in his life as they do more for him than they could ever possibly know.

Speaking of beloved four-footed friends, The Scruff reminds everyone: please spay or neuter your pets.

With gratitude & coffee,
